Outdoor Play Is A Good Medicine

Miaomiao gets up late this morning. After feeding breakfast for her, it’s nearly 11 o’clock in the forenoon. As i have many dirty clothes need to wash, so i ask Miaomiao to tidy the toys she played earlier and play other toys by herself.
She refuses and asks me to tidy those toys. I feel a bit angry and ask her to tidy toys by herself. Then she starts to cry. Seeing this, i have to hold her and wipe her tears. I ask her if she wants to do housework with me. She says no. And then i ask her if she wants to go to our neighbour’s home and plays with Tommy. She thinks for sevral seconds and says yes, but she also asks me to go with her. As it’s almost noon. Maybe it’s not suitable to play in Tommy’s home. So i ask her if she wants to go outside to play with me. She says yes and quickly goes to the doorway to change shoes. So i get my bag and key and go out with her.
It’s very hot outside. I take her to the Children’s play erea to play slide and seesaw. There are already sevral kids here playing. Miaomiao joins in and plays here with them. She plays for about half an hour and tells me that she wants to go to the lakeside garden. As it’s hot and no kids are playing there, we go home then. I hold Miaomiao on the way as she says that she is very tired.
After arriving home, Miaomiao plays alone in her toy house. And i wash clothes during this period. She plays by herself with delight as i can hear her singing in her toy house. She plays for a long time and i even have time to wash dishes and cook lunch.
From her behaviour today, i think outdoor play is a good medicine for kids. It can let them happy and more independent in some way. If your kids are crying and losing temper at home, just take them to the outdoor to play for a while, they will be cured by themselves soon.
