After lunch, Miaomiao plays her Barbie doll with her grandma on sofa in the living room while i’m washing dishes in the kitchen.
“Can i watch cartoon for a while in grandma’s bedroom, mom?” She asks me when i get out of the kitchen. “Ok, but only watch one episode, and then go to our bedroom to take a nap, ok?” “Ok.”

Then she goes into her grandparents’ bedroom and climbs on the bed after taking off her shoes. Her grandma turns on TV for her and then sits at the edge of the bed to watch TV. As the TV is put beside the bed, so actually Miaomiao’s grandma sits very close to the TV. Miaomiao is sitting in the middle of the bed originally. She goes to sit beside her grandma at the edge of the bed then. “Miaomiao, go to another side of the bed to watch TV, it’s harmful to your eyes to sit beside the TV to watch.” I tell her when she sits beside her grandma. “But why grandma sits here?” She gets up and walks to another side, but also asks. “So you can ask your grandma to sit with you over there too.” I point to the pillows on the other side of the bed. “Grandma comes here to sit with me!” She calls her grandma then. Seeing this, her grandma has to go farther to sit with her.

Actually it’s not the first time she imitates her grandma watching TV closely. She also bends over and imitates the way her granpa walks occasionally. She also imitates me to write words on papers sometimes. She likes to imitate others’ behaviour and words and learns to become her own.

So please notice your behaviour in front of kids. They learn fast and they are the future of tomorrow.
