On The Way

Miaomiao will be three years old this friday and we plan to go to Suizhou Miaomiao’s grandparents’ home this thursday to celebrate her three years birthday with all our family members in Suizhou this friday.

But Sam watched the weather report yesterday afternoon and found it would rain heavily for sevral days this week. He worried we couldn’t drive to Suizhou this thursday because of the heavy rain. So he decided to drive us to Suizhou today with our luggage and then he could return back to Wuhan and go to Suizhou alone in thursday by train. Only in this way could he insure he can carry our luggage back to Suizhou. As besides celebrating her birthday, Miaomiao and i also plan to stay at Suizhou for nearly a month in this hot summer.

Sam goes to work in the morning and returns in noon. As i have tidied all the things we need to take with us, so Sam starts to take our luggage to his car sevral times after lunch and a short break. We leave home at about a quarter past two.

Miaomiao eats two small pieces of chocolate and some other snacks at the beginning when we sit in the car. Then she starts to look at and touch everywhere she can touch in the car. She even stands and jumps with excited sometimes. I ask her to sit or sleep quietly for a while, but she totally doesn’t listen to me. She continues yelling and laughing loudly in the car. I scare her that the police would take her away if she continues to yell and jump in the car. She lies on the seat for a while but stands up again after a while. We arrives at twenty to five in the afternoon. Miaomiao totally doesn’t sleep on the way at all.

I don’t know why she is so excited today in the car. She wakes up before nine o’clock as usual this morning. And she used to sleep on the way between Suizhou and Wuhan before. So why doesn’t she sleep on the car today? Maybe it’s the two pieces of chocolate that make her feel excited? I don’t know.
