Little Progress

After taken photoes and played for a whole day yesterday, we decide to have a rest at home today. We get up at nearly ten o’clock in the forenoon. It’s nearly eleven o’clock after we finish our breakfast.

After breakfast, Sam plays with Miaomiao while i wash some clothes. Sam goes to the toilet at one time and Miaomiao also wants to go to the toilet at this time. So i help her take off her pants and let her sits on her own child toilet. Then i go to get the dry clothes hanged on the balcony. I hear Miaomiao saying that she is ok during this period. I tell her to wait for a minute on her toilet and then go to her. when i see her, i find that she is standing and pushing up her pants. Though the pants are not pushed up very well, she finishes it all by herself at last. It’s her progress because she has never pushed up her pants by herself before.

After a while, Sam goes outside and buys us some noodles for lunch. I feed Miaomiao while i eat my own noodles. Miaomiao eats very slow. She still has a large bowl of noodles to eat when Sam and i eat up our noodles. The noodles are dry and Miaomiao likes to drink water after i feed her some noodles with chopsticks. When she is drinking water at one time, i go to the kitchen to throw the trash in the trash can. After i return, much to my surprise, i find she is eating noodles with chopsticks by herself. She grabs the pair of chopsticks in her hand and stirs up some noodles in her mouth. I feel so surprised because it’s the first time for her to use chopsticks to eat noodles. I didn’t let her try chopsticks before because i didn’t think she can use it well as she still can’t use spoons very well. But from the behaviour today, i find she can eat noodles with chopsticks by herself though she doesn’t use them very well, just as she can use spoons to eat up her meals though she can’t use spoons very well. Very nice progress.

Her progress today also teaches me to let her try more in the future. Maybe she can learn more things faster if she trys more, though not well-performed at the beginning. But what does it matter? She is making progress everyday and can does everything as well as us one day in the future.
