Our Taste Is Our Kids’ Taste

Miaomiao wants to go out to have breakfast this morning. So i take her out to buy some steamed stuffed buns and a cup of soybean milk for her. And i still buy a bowl of hot dry noodles for breakfast.

After eating up my breakfast in the breakfast shop, i take her to a shady and cool place in our community as usual with her breakfast. There are already many kids as well as their moms or grandparents here. We find a seat beside a big tree and sit on it. Miaomiao starts to eat her breakfast.
Her playmate brother Bean also comes here with sevral other kids when Miaomiao nearly finishes her breakfast. So she plays with them together. These kids runs and plays here and there on the ground. At last almost all the kids come to the kids area on the first floor of one building to play together. Some of the kids play on the slide, some of them play together with the seesaw, and others are running or jumping on the floor. Moms or grandparents are standing beside their kids. Miaomiao likes to play on the slide and i have to stand beside her and remind her to get down or stand aside sometimes, as there are nearly ten kids playing here together and it’s really crowd.
While standing beside Miaomiao, i find a very interesting thing. I notice that despite kids with their grandparents, kids with their moms here dress more or less a bit like their own moms. For example, i find a little girl VC’s mom is wearing a sleeveless V collar long black dress, and VC is dressing a little sleeveless V collar colorful dress. And also i find a little boy named Tao wears a very loose t-shirt with a loose pants, and his mom also wears a very loose dress. Brother Bean’s mother wears a sleeveless close-fitting t-shirt and a close-fitting overskirt today, and Bean also wears a sleeveless vest and a close-fitting pants. Another little boy Star wears a yellow pajamas, and his mom also wears a yellow dress today. And to Miaomiao, we both wear just fit t-shirt and pants today.
Intentionally or unintentionally, our kids’ wear is more or less like ours in some sense. It’s because we choose clothes for them most of the time as they are still too young. But they will be affected therefore and form their own taste which would be very familiar to us. So that’s to say, our taste on clothes or maybe something else would affect our kids to some extend. And i can even say, when they are young, our taste is their taste. So how to enhance our taste and give more nice impacts on our kids, is an important lesson that every parents should learn.
