Feel Better

Miaomiao wakes up at a quarter past eight this morning. Her father Sam is still at home because of the broken alarm clock. Miaomiao kicks her father when she sees her father staring at her smiling. Both her father and i tell her that it’s wrong to kick dad. She starts to cry and doesn’t want to admit her fault. After a while, Sam goes out to work and Miaomiao plays Legos in her toy house.

After some simple wash, i plan to take Miaomiao out to buy some breakfast to eat in the shops beside our community. But Miaomiao doesn’t want to go outside and insists on staying at home for a bit longer. I try to persuade her to go out right now, as it’s already a bit late in the morning and i’m very hungry. Though she is still reluctant to go, she agrees with me to go out to have breakfast soon.
We go out of the door and get downstairs via the elevator. We meet a little boy also named Miaomiao playing his small car with his grandma downstairs. His grandma says hello to Miaomiao and he also invites Miaomiao to sit on his car as he has met Miaomiao before. I refuses him for Miaomiao as we have to eat breakfast first. Though we doesn’t play with them, i find Miaomiao seems to be happier to have noticed by other kids.
I buy her a piece of steamed sponge cake, a steamed stuffed bun, and a cup of soybean milk. Then i take her hand and enter into a breakfast shop to have a bowl of hot dry noodles. Miaomiao sits beside me and eats breakfast by herself. I take her out after a while and sit with her on a stone chair in front of the steamed stuffed bun shop. Miaomiao is still eating her breakfast. There are also many other kids having their breakfast or playing here. Miaomiao is glad to eat her breakfast here and even games to eat buns with another little girl. She is still unwilling to go home after she eats up her breakfast. Brother Bean and his mom also come here after a while. And Miaomiao then plays with Bean happily.
I think Miaomiao may be in a bad mood this morning. But she feels better to see and play with other kids. Staying and playing with kids together, it’s really a recipe to make her happy.
