Miaomiao didn’t take afternoon nap yesterday and slept early last night. She wakes up at a quarter past eight this morning.
Maybe because the good sleep of last night, she doesn’t feel sleepy in Sam’s car on our way to Suizhou this afternoon. As it’s Dragon Boat festival tomorrow, Sam has three days vacation, so we decide to go to Suizhou Miaomiao’s grandparents’ home to spend this festival. Sam drives his car and takes us to Suizhou this afternoon. Miaomiao always slept in his car on the way before. But she doesn’t sleep this afternoon. At first she just sits on my legs and watches out of the window. After a while she sits on the seat by herself and eats some snacks with me. Then she stands up and watches her father driving. I ask her to sit down because standing in car on the way is not safe. She listens to me and sits down but stands up again after a while. So i have to watch her carefully and ask her to sit down often on the way.
We arrive home in Suizhou before six o’clock in the afternoon. Miaomiao is very glad to see her grandparents. She also loves here and calls here the “old home”.
