A Hot Day

It’s a hot day today. After breakfast, Miaomiao and i stay at home. She plays in her toy house and finds some unfinished and destroyed handmade works such as small train, table lamp, etc. She wants to repair these works by glue with me.

And when we plan to repair these handmade works, she finds two rubber bands in the handmade box. “What’s this?” She asks me. “Rubber bands. Would you like to tie up your hair with rubber bands?” I ask her. I think she would refuse me as she didn’t like to tie up her hair before. But to my surprise, she agrees this time. So i get my comb and comb her hair. Then i find most of her hair is wet with sweat. That maybe why she is willing to tie up her hair this time. She feels too hot. So i help her tie up her hair and she sits still. After a while we are finished and she is happy and smiling to me while i am taking photos for her.
Then we stay at home to repair or do the handmade works, to have lunch, and do some house work. Miaomiao doesn’t want to take afternoon nap as she gets up late this morning.
We go out to play at nearly five o’clock in the afternoon. We take her beach toys and go to the sand pool beside the South Lake peninsula which is not far from our home. It’s still hot this time outside as the sun is still shining in the sky. And there is only one little girl plays there with her grandpa when we arrive there. Miaomiao and i play in the sand pool with her beach toys for a while, and pick some small stones for the small tortoise we bought sevral days ago. As it’s really hot, i take her out of the sand pool and find a cool place to continue to pick small stones on the ground.
We come back and play in our community for a while before going home. Miaomiao sleeps earlier than yesterday after having supper and taking a shower. That’s all for today. Hope it wouldn’t be so hot tomorrow.
