Back To Wuhan And Join A Party

Miaomiao, Sam, and i come back to Wuhan’s home in Sam’s car after lunch this afternoon. Miaomiao and i sit in the back of the car and Sam drives the car in the front. Miaomiao sits and eats some snacks and then falls asleep as usual. I hold her to let her sleep better in the car. She wakes up after nearly two hours when we arrives at Wuhan.

Our car drives into our community and to our garage. Miaomiao feels excited. She still remembers our home in Wuhan. We take our luggages to our home.
As it’s our neighbour’s child Tommy’s two years old birthday today. I take Miaomiao to Tommy’s home and Miaomiao gives her present- a box of crayons to Tommy. There are already sevral kids in Tommy’s home to attend Tommy’s birthday party tonight. Miaomiao wants to stay and play in Tommy’s home. But she also wants me to stay with her here. She feels a bit nervous as she didn’t play here for a long time. I stay with her for a short while and then take her home as i have a lot of things to do at home.
Then while i am cooking supper in my home, our neighbour knocks the door and invites Miaomiao to attend Tommy’s birthday party in their home. Miaomiao still doesn’t want to go there alone, so i ask Sam to go with her.
They come back later to have lunch. Sam tells me that Miaomiao feels nervous in the party and couldn’t play with other kids well. I think that may because she has been away from Wuhan for two weeks and can’t integrate into the new environment quickly. Or she is shy while staying with many unfamiliar people.
I really hope she can become familiar with life in Wuhan again quickly and plays well with other kids here.
