Arrange Flowers

image

The day before yesterday was the fourth wedding anniversary of my husband Sam and i. I received a big bunch of roses from Sam that day, though he was not at home of SuiZhou. These roses were very beautiful and were wrapped in purple wrapping paper. And among these roses there were many other flowers within in order to let the bunch of roses look more beautiful.

I find these roses look a bit out of spirits this morning. So i decide to keep these roses with fresh water in order to let them bloom longer.
I get a large glass cup from the cabinet and take a shear from the kitchen. Then i start to get rid of the purple wrapping paper for the roses and cut parts of their stems. I put these roses into the glass cup with fresh water after that. Miaomiao is very curious about my behaviour and also wants to have a try. Even without my permission, she stands on her tiptoes and grasps a rose in her hands. I stop her behaviour immediately. But she is still eager to try. Seeing the flowers and then i get an idea.
I find a small cup for her and get the pink flowers among the roses to her and ask her to arrange the flowers in the cup. She accepts this idea and starts to put the flowers into the small cup. But she also says that she will also arrange big flowers when she grows up. She plays with the pink flowers for a while. Then i find another cup for her and give her some yellow flowers. She is happy and arranges the flowers in the cup carefully.
I put the cup of roses on the dressing table after i dispose all the roses. Miaomiao follows. She puts her cups of flowers beside the roses on the dressing table like me.
Kids always like to imitate our behaviour when they find something new. Just let them try if without harm or safety problems. They will grow up through multiple trials and studies.
