About Bath

I have helped Miaomiao took a bath since she was born. At first i helped her took a bath with the help of her grandma. When she was older at nearly six months, i started to help her took a bath alone. And she is nearly two years and ten months old now.

She didn’t like to take a bath two months ago. And when i bought some new toys for her to play while bathing, she liked to take a bath again.
I always took a bath for her and then washed myself in the past two years. But sometimes when she played too long while sitting in her tub or when there were no others at home to look after her while i was taking a shower, i would wash with her. In this condition, i always took a shower while she plays toys in her tub and then helped her took a bath. She accepted it and played well in her tub while i was taking a shower.
But, two days ago, when i was taking a shower while she was sitting in her tub, we were chatting and among the talks i mentioned “It’s not good to sit in the tub for too long as the water may become cold.” After hearing this sentence, she put out her hands and asked me to hold her. As i was showering and she still has not taken a bath, i asked her to sit in the bath for a while and told her that the water was still warm in her tub. She didn’t listen but cried loudly and required to get her out of her tub continuously. I have to shower quicker and weared my clothes in a hurry. Then i held ger in my arms and tried to persuade her to continue to take a bath but failed. At last i have to let her stand on her another small tub and took a simple shower for her.
Then the day before yesterday and yesterday and even today, she always liked to ask me sevral times at night: “mom doesn’t take a shower first and let me take a bath first, ok?” If i didn’t answer her ok immediately, she may cry with chagrin.
I don’t know how long this situation will last. I even don’t understand why. But i hope she doesn’t hate taking a bath in the future, after all, she only wanted to take simple bathes in the past two days.
